Brown Bread Sandwich

A healthy snack that can be eaten any time of the day. Tastes best with a cup of hot coffee and interesting conversation! You can use any bread of your choice. The filling I use is a healthy twist on the traditional Cole slaw.

Ingredients

4-6 Brown Bread slices
½ cup Hung Curds
1 Cucumber grated
1 Carrot grated
½ cup Cabbage shredded
1tbs Raisins
Few lettuce leaves(optional)
Few drops Tobasco sauce
1tsp Mustard sauce
1tbs Tomato ketchup
1/2tsp paprika powder
Salt and Pepper to taste

Procedure

Mix cucumber, carrot, cabbage and raisins in a bowl.

In another bowl mix all the other ingredients.

Pour this curd mixture on the vegetables and mix well. Keep aside for 5-10 mins.

Place a lettuce leaf on a slice of bread.

Now spread the vegetable and curd mixture on the lettuce leaf and cover with another slice of bread.

You may cut the sides of the bread and apply some butter on the bread slices before adding the lettuce and filling.

Cut the sandwich in a shape of your choice and enjoy with hot coffee!
