Pink Marble Cupcakes with Butter Cream and Royal Icing

There is something very special and inviting about cupcakes. One look at a cupcake and you feel like popping it in your mouth! Isn't it? Well, it certainly is with me! The prettier the cupcake, the better!
I recently made cupcakes for my cousin who is getting married soon. These were for a kind of a bridal shower. So I decided to go with pink!
The batter i used here is an ordinary cupcake batter made using eggs, milk, butter, sugar and flour.

I used two icings. Butter cream and Royal. Here is the recipe

Ingredients
Any cupcake batter divided into two. Colour half the batter pink and leave the rest white.
2 Cups Buttercream Icing ( made using 11/2 cup butter and 1 cup icing sugar whisked together till all the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes light and fluffy.)
2 Cups Royal Icing ( made using two egg whites and 1 cup icing sugar whisked together till the mixture forms firm peaks. Add a bit of vanilla essence to get rid of the eggy smell)
1/2 Cup Sugar Syrup

Special Equipment
Piping bag and nozzles

Method
Bake cupcakes and let them cool to room temperature.
Make both icings and fill in piping bags.
Use different types of nozzles to decorate.
Brush the cupcakes with some sugar syrup to keep them moist.
Decorate using butter cream icing and royal icing.
Serve at a tea party or as dessert. Enjoy!
