We all know milk is good for health and we must have a glass of milk everyday. But I just cannot have plain milk. I am sure many of you out there share the same sentiments.
I always keep cold milk in my fridge and love to experiment with milkshakes! This recipe is healthy as it does not contain any sugar and has the goodness of apples.
A secret ingredient gives it that edge and makes the milkshake absolutely yummylicious!
Ingredients
Preparation time: 5 mins
No cooking required
Serves: 2
1 Cup Cold Milk (full cream or toned)
1 Apple chopped (with skin)
1 tsp Rooh-af-za (the secret ingredient)
8-10 Cubes of Ice
Procedure
Add chopped apples, rooh-af-za and a tablespoon of milk in a blender and blend till you get a puree.
Now add the remaining milk and ice cubes and blend for a good 5 minutes.
Pour out the milkshake in tall glassed and decorate with a slice of apple.
You can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you want to make it a little extravagant!
Serve chilled!
